TECH TOUR

TechTour is a project aimed at empowering underprivileged children with both basic and advanced computer skills. Over the past 6 years, TechTour has trained more than 2,000 children in courses such as Desktop Publishing, Graphic Design, UI/UX and Introduction to Web Development.

In the first edition of the TechTour Summer Bootcamp held in August 2022, 22 teenagers from the Akute-Ajuwon community in Ogun State, many of whom had never seen, used, or owned a laptop participated in a four-week intensive practical training program. The training covered Desktop Publishing, Graphic Design, and an Introduction to Web Design.

At the end of the program, participants showcased their new skills through a Graphic Design Competition, and laptops were awarded to the top performers.

Our goal is to empower and equip the next generation of innovators who will use technology to create solutions and positively transform their communities and the world.

  • Provide sanitary towels and other essential hygiene materials.

  • Train and empower girls mentally, emotionally, and socially.

  • Elevate their mindset and confidence about their role and potential in society.

  • Expand their horizons by exposing them to knowledge that helps them make informed life decisions.

  • Introduce them to financial literacy and basic financial intelligence.

  • Expose them to various career opportunities while challenging gender stereotypes and biases.

  • Promote proper menstrual hygiene and reproductive health awareness.

Through The Girl Project, we strive to create a supportive environment where young girls are informed, empowered, and inspired to pursue their dreams and become agents of positive change in society.

THE SCHOOL PROJECT

Every child deserves the right to education, the opportunity to dream, and the chance to turn that dream into a meaningful vision for their future. The School Project is deeply committed to giving underprivileged children the opportunities they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

The program is designed to provide children in our adopted communities with access to education. Removing barriers such as poverty, lack of school materials, and limited family support.

Through the School Project, children receive:

  • Enrollment in schools within their communities

  • School supplies, uniforms, and learning materials to ensure they have the tools to succeed

  • Mentorship and life-skills training to help them navigate personal and academic challenges

  • Ongoing support and follow-up to ensure consistent attendance and academic progress

Our ultimate goal is to empower these children to not only stay in school but to develop the confidence, knowledge, and skills they need to dream big, pursue opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Through the school project we've also been able to renovate and supply needed upgrades to schools in our adopted communities.
